Mission:

The mission of Z.E.C.A. School of Arts and Technology is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children by fostering a stimulating and educational atmosphere that will promote each child's unique social, emotional, physical, cultural, technological, and cognitive development with a strong emphasis on arts, diversity, and technology.

Our Vision

Vision: 

• Academic needs are met and nurtured to maximize potential (valuing kids where they are) meet individual needs 
• Students’ academic confidence is accelerated 
• High school readiness via academic success, social emotional competence, and self-confidence and self-worth 
• We help students re-engage in a school experience successfully 
• Teachers are empowered and encouraged to teach to the unique needs of each individual student. 

Goals: 

Academic 

1.                 Students will achieve academic growth tailored to their unique needs 

2.                 Students will see their cultural selves in the curriculum 

3.                 Students will be academically engaged and motivated with their lessons 

Affective 

1. Students will develop self-confidence in knowing who they are and how the contribute to their community and the world 
2. Students will develop an emotional IQ to manage their emotions and affirm others 
3. Students will develop leadership skills to Positively impact their community  

and become leaders in their community (collective responsibility/ community responsibility)
